Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Solidex Engineering ("Solidex", "we", "us") collects and processes personal data through this marketing website. For privacy questions or data requests, contact info@solidexengineering.com.
2. What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, company, message | When you submit the contact / demo form | To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo |
| Email content | If you email us directly | To respond to your enquiry |
| Technical data (IP, browser, request logs) | Automatically, by our hosting/CDN provider | Security, abuse prevention, and reliability |
We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell personal data. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. Cookies & tracking
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we later add privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics, this policy will be updated; if any cookie-based analytics is introduced, we will present a consent banner first.
4. Service providers (processors)
- Form delivery — contact-form submissions are processed by our form provider (Formspree) to deliver them to us.
- Hosting / CDN — serves the website and processes request logs for security and performance.
- Fonts — the site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request. (We intend to self-host fonts to remove this transfer.)
5. Legal basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process contact data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; technical/log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in securing and operating the site.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise it. Server/abuse logs are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact info@solidexengineering.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — see our Security page. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
